Who provided the voice of SID? Can't find it in my SciFi Encyclopedia
and can't find it on Marc's web site and too lazy right now at 6:40 in the AM to pop a video in the vcr ...... I just watched a Doctor Who episode called "The Green Death" and Ellis' Moonbase console was part of the set for this giant computer named BOSS who sounded familiar. I thought maybe he sounded like ZEN from Blake's 7, but that was Peter Tuddenham. Then I thought maybe he sounded a bit like SID - only more megalomaniacal, if ya know what I mean ... John Dearth provided the voice for BOSS - who was the voice of SID? And it is late, I am sleepy and I'm off to bed now. Nite-nite! <yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn - coff coff snyx> Damn flu. <grump> -- Yuchtar -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Yuchtar zantai-Klaan | [hidden email] I am not a number! The voice of SID was that of Mel Oxley who also had something to do with 2001
if I recall but I'm not sure what at the moment. James K. |

YOU MENTIONED THE TWO MOVIE! <holding head so it won't explode> Actually, I saw another TWO movie yesterday that is even worse than the original. It was called "2001: A Space Travesty" with Leslie Nielson. I mean, those films are supposed to be stupid, but this one was just TOO stupid. And that's way off topic, sorry. Even though it wasn't the same voice, it WAS Gay Ellis' console, so there IS a UFO connection. <arms crossed stubbornly> -- Y -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Yuchtar zantai-Klaan | [hidden email] I am not a number!
