What is a "foil set" ?

Hi all,

I see on the Cards, Inc. website that there is a "basic" 100 card set
for UFO, and there is also a "foil" set. What exactly is a "foil"
set?

Marc-
Its usually a "chase" set printed on foil backed cardboard and embossed.

Marc;
I believe that a foil set is a chromatic or holographic type card. My kids
have some Pokemon cards and thats what they are,
