Just got my set 2 of UFO and the first episode I watched
was "destruction". While I was watching the episode I got to thinking; why would the aliens want to destroy all the life on earth? Looks like to me that would be millions of body organs gone to waste. And it seems to me that nerve gas would damage certain organs and render them useless. Just wondering. |
With all their recent attempts to land on Earth and abduct humans being
thwarted by SHADO... Perhaps the aliens decided to get even by destroying the planet. But then again, perhaps the bomb in question was beyond our technology and was designed to wipe out human life so they could move from their own dying planet to a new home?? I always assumed they'd take all the organs they needed from the dead. If
they were contaminated, the aliens had a method for sterilizing them. Once they had all the organs they needed, they'd inhabit the planet. A kid's assumption always makes sense at the time I guess. -----Original Message----- From: Yuchtar Sent: Fri 1/31/2003 9:44 PM To: [hidden email] Cc: Subject: Re: [SHADO] "destruction" Yeah, doesn't make sense, does it? -- Y "dorzaks " wrote: > > Just got my set 2 of UFO and the first episode I watched > was "destruction". Perhaps the aliens wanted to knock out Earth's technological base and force the survivors back to a pre-industrial type lifestyle so the aliens could go back to taking people at will without interference. |

The aliens would bring their genetic defects with them and they would still need a continuing source of organs. I suspect that the massive load of alien genetic defects is the legacy of the aliens being in their past for far too long a time far too thorough in helping (those of their people who had genetic defects) to live and breed, and through all that time without natural selection genetic defects accumulated and accumulated. |
