You mean scenes from the episode? That was due to the
writer/director David Tomblin, who had his own ideas about what the
episode credits should look like.

I think it's fairly common in American drama series that you
have a teaser showing a few clips from the episode at the start,
no? Not so common in British TV and I think it's the only UFO
Episode that has this. It's common in other GA stuff as well,
Thunderbirds did it and I think Stingray did as well, to name
but two.

Speaking of Thunderbirds .. I spotted a brief item in the current
edition of CGI magazine that there's an upcoming TV ad featuring
two bikini-clad babes on holiday on Tracy Island, sitting by the
swimming pool. They run off when the pool unexpectedly slides
back and TB1 launches! They had a couple of still photos, it
looked really good..

Haven't we discussed this before? They did that with all the eps written
by one particular writer or directed by one particular director - can't
recall which .... Three eps, wasn't it?
