My crossover with Bonanza, was born from similar curcumstances. It was an off the cuff idea that took flight on it's own. Having known a few Scorpio's in my life, I can picture Ed as one. *grin* Take care, Matt |

I'm not sure I ever gave The Man a birthday in my stories. It just never came up, I guess. If I did, it would have been in the Conover Saga, but I'm not remembering specifics at the moment. That was several storylines ago. *grin* Are you currently working on any UFO stories? Denise
Straker, somehow it's always about you.

Hi Matt - Can I find your Bonanza cross over on the SHADO Library? I'd love to read it! Cheers, Pam M

Dear Sister Denise - hey offer still stands for you to come up to Canuckland - esp in the summer - we gotta pool! And 4 cats! Love to have you come up - you'd love my Lt Ellis doll that I bought from the Fanderson site! She even talks! A few years ago, I managed to glom onto a website that sold UFO model sets. I ordered a model of the UFO alien (when finished I think its 12 inches tall - just the right size for a diorama!) and the MoonBase model too. My husband is really good at doing models for me - he's done all my Star Trek models (Kirk's Enterprise, DS9) and my ocean liners (Titanic, Lusitania, Cousteau's Calypso, et al). I also found a website - forget which now too many years ago - from which I got a coffee mug with the SHADO logo and a grey sweatshirt also with logo. As you know from being on close terms with a Scorp - they can be incredibly private and secretive (and let's face it, sometimes even cruel). But I could see Straker as a Cappie too in some ways. But not as a Gemini, which was EB's real symbol. Geminis are different entirely - no less intellectual, but not head of SHADO material for certain, ha ha. I'm working on a couple new UFO stories but I'm being really lazy. I have at least 3 I should be finishing up. They've required some extra research, especially Trojan Horse and Walk About. I've been pouring my creative energies more into painting than writing these days. Am working on a canvas depicting Interceptors vs alien ships with a crescent moon and planet earth in the background. Already finished Skydiver sub and MoonBase canvases last year. I should take pix of them and send them to you for your site! Were you able to lift any UFO artwork off my website? I don't mind if you do. I think I have SID on there too as well as the small tank mobiles used on earth, and a small image of Skydiver - but just the jet part. My oil is the entire sub with the jet part blasting off from it. You know, there is a real irony in my love of Trek and esp UFO. When I was 12 and UFO first came on TV here in my province, I fell in love with it. It started out Monday nights at 7pm. Then for some dumb reason, the station switched it to Sat nights at 11pm! My mother refused to let me stay up that late even tho I promised her everything including my first born child! So I missed at least half of the series. She wasn't very nice about it. It seemed to me she wasn't doing it so much because of the lateness of the hour, it appeared she just wanted to deprive me of something I liked. Four years later, when reruns of TOS finally ended up being broadcast here, I was 16 and she was no longer able to control my TV viewing to the same extent - TOS came on Sat mornings. Sooo, fast forward 30 years and I've been able to BUY UFO and TOS for myself and nobody can tell me I can't watch them. Plus I've been able to purchase models etc and write over 30 UFO fanfics for the Library. I don't think parents should treat their children like that. UFO wasn't so adult I shouldn't have been able to see it, and the cruelty was totally unnecessary. (she even tried to keep me from watching The Champions!) So perhaps my fandom for UFO has been driven up a few notches because I was originally deprived of it at one point in my life! Here in Canuckland we have had snow up the yingyang. Just awful - I don't know where we're going to put it all! Hugs & Blessings, Pammie the Canuck [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Having met him, I was so amazed that Bishop was able to pull off such an uptight perfectionist character. Because he wasn't like that at all! It really gave me respect for his acting abilities, especially since I well know that some actors can only play themselves. >I'm working on a couple new UFO stories but I'm being really lazy. I guess that means I have to get the rest of your current stories up on the website I did for you, huh? (I'm so behind!) The tv stations did it themselves by preempting it every time I turned around. I went through withdrawal a LOT! And it wasn't pretty. *snicker* > Here in Canuckland we have had snow up the yingyang. iron on transfers printed from the pc could make that happen again, also label stock for stickers, i think there are also time cured peel transfer or heat transfer for cups and things too, but you would have to special order them from a print shop.
if enough people order them, i could get that done here i guess. let me know. jim --- On Sat, 2/26/11, nafofu <[hidden email]> wrote: From: nafofu <[hidden email]> Subject: [SHADO] Re: possible alien explanation To: [hidden email] Date: Saturday, February 26, 2011, 8:06 AM Perhaps here: http://shop.cafepress.com/shado --- In [hidden email], "Pam McCaughey" <mccaug@...> wrote: <SNIP>>I also found a website - forget which now too many years ago - from which I got a coffee mug with the SHADO logo and a grey sweatshirt also with logo.
